This new original hand made print of our beautiful native Tui & Golden Kowhai flora, by NZ visual artist and printmaker Jessica Scott-Petersen, follows the theme of her work with NZ birds, sea life, fauna, flora, & stylised patterns & motifs.
The Golden Kowhai pattern background represents one of the Tui’s favourite nectar loving flowers & is also a magnificent native tree in its own right, especially in full bloom. The kōwhai flower is especially desirable to tui – who will fly great distances to sample its delicious nectar.
Our Tui is Native and unique to New Zealand and is truly Majestic.
