Hawke’s Bay based artist Gary Brooks has been on the Art scene in New Zealand since the late 1990s, exhibiting and selling his acrylic paintings in galleries around New Zealand.

His creativity took a new direction within the last few years, when he began experimenting with concrete using casting techniques.

"Working with concrete is a lot different than painting, in that you are relying just on your hands to create something and not a paint brush."
