Clay grabbed my attention over 20 years ago when I took a night class to brighten the winter during my London OE. My fascination with the endless possibilities of this material continues today and I share this in my teaching studio in the basement of the Whangaparaoa Hall, Hibiscus Coast, Auckland.

Because I enjoy cooking and sharing meals, my work tends towards the display and containment of food and drink but I have a little side line of display only pieces generally inspired by the sea. My home overlooks a bay and sea beyond where my family enjoys boating, fishing and snorkelling.
