Ian has constructed this stunning Looper Moth from hand beaten recycled copper and old copper half penny coins with the Tkik motif. Look closely at the detail! 5 of the 6 coins making up the body are dated 1965, 1959, 1951, 1940 & 1947. This is the perfect gift for the insect lover in your life!

 Ian of Ianzart is based in Hokitika and is a true craftsman, making sculpture by bending, beating and burning copper. He uses controlled heat patina that brings out rainbow colours in the metal by heating and cooling it to different temperatures.
