Ian of Ianzart has constructed this stunning spider from recycled hand beaten copper and old copper coins. Look closely at the detail! A perfect gift for the insect lover in your life! 

Ian, who is based in Hokitika, is a true craftsman, making sculpture by bending, beating and burning copper. He uses controlled heat patina that brings out rainbow colours in the metal by heating and cooling it to different temperatures.
