Wandering through the wilderness of native bushes, I am enveloped by nature’s embrace—the moss-covered ground, the towering pūriri trees, and the ancient tōtara, and beneath, a canopy of ferns and graceful nīkau palms. The air is thick with the scent of mossy earth, a fragrance that feels like home, grounding me in the deep, rich greens of this serene sanctuary. The whispers of nature speak in colors and scents, inviting a sense of peace and belonging.
