I was inspired to paint this when I spotted a lush nasturtium plant thriving in my daughter's garden in Christchurch, New Zealand. After frost killed the plant a few days after I visited her and my grandchildren, she saved its seeds to plant next spring. I hope to see this plants regenerated from the seeds when I visit again in the summer. This artwork is a celebration of nature's strength, beauty and resilience making it a meaningful addition to any space.
