Trinket Dish | Puhoro | Large
This recycled native NZ timber ring dish features an engraved design inspired by the traditional pūhoro pattern that adorns waka (canoes) and is often seen in Ta Moko.
By blending contemporary form with classic Māori artistry and flair, it resonates with both the present and the past, exuding authenticity and cultural significance.
The pūhoro design is reminiscent of the ripples and swirls created by a paddle strike, propelling the waka through water. It is an apt design to represent momentum, movement and journey.
